By downloading, installing, or using the PlannerWP plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the software.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and PlannerWP ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the PlannerWP WordPress booking plugin and related services accessible at plannerwp.com ("the Service").
By installing, activating, or using the PlannerWP plugin in any way, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms.
- You are at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the plugin.
2. Plugin Description
PlannerWP is a WordPress booking plugin that enables website owners to accept appointment bookings, manage time slots, process payments via WooCommerce, and automate email communications with clients.
The plugin operates entirely on the user's WordPress installation. PlannerWP does not host or process any booking or client data on our servers. All data remains on the user's server.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the plugin at any time, provided that such changes do not materially reduce functionality for active paid subscribers without reasonable notice.
3. License Grant
3.1 Free Plan
Subject to these Terms, PlannerWP grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, royalty-free license to install and use the Free version of the plugin on the number of WordPress sites specified for your plan.
The Free plan is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 (GPL-2.0), consistent with the WordPress plugin directory requirements.
3.2 Premium & Professional Plans
Premium and Professional plan licenses grant you the right to use the plugin and receive updates and support for the duration of your active subscription, on the number of sites specified in your plan (1 site or 3 sites).
A license is tied to a single licence holder and may not be transferred, resold, or sublicensed to any third party without prior written consent from PlannerWP.
3.3 Lifetime License
Where a Lifetime License is offered, it grants perpetual access to the plugin version available at purchase, plus all minor and major updates released within 3 years of the purchase date. After this period, the plugin continues to function, but access to future updates requires a new license.
4. Plans & Pricing
PlannerWP offers the following plans:
| Plan | Price | Sites | Key Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 — free forever | Unlimited | 10 online payments/month |
| Premium (1 site) | €79/year | 1 | Unlimited payments, waitlist, reminders |
| Premium (3 sites) | €149/year | 3 | Same as Premium × 3 sites |
| Professional (1 site) | €199/year | 1 | Multi-staff, advanced coupons, priority support |
| Professional (3 sites) | €349/year | 3 | Same as Professional × 3 sites |
All prices are in Euros (€) and exclude applicable VAT. VAT may be added at checkout depending on your country of residence, in compliance with EU digital services tax regulations.
Prices are subject to change. Any price changes affecting active subscriptions will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
5. Free Trial
Premium and Professional plans include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. During the trial you have full access to all features of your chosen plan.
At the end of the trial period, the plugin reverts to Free plan functionality unless you activate a paid license. No charges are made automatically at the end of the trial; purchasing a license is always an explicit action.
6. Payment & Renewal
Payments are processed by Freemius, our third-party payment platform. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and PayPal.
Annual subscriptions do not renew automatically by default. You will receive a renewal reminder email before your license expires. You may choose to renew manually from your Freemius account dashboard.
If you opt into automatic renewal, you may cancel at any time from your Freemius account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
In case of an unsuccessful payment, your license will be suspended and the plugin will revert to Free plan functionality until payment is completed.
7. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all first-time paid license purchases (Premium and Professional plans, including Lifetime licenses).
To request a refund, contact us at contact@plannerwp.com within 14 days of your purchase. No questions asked.
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Renewal payments (if you have renewed a license).
- Purchases where the 14-day period has elapsed.
- Licenses suspended or terminated due to violation of these Terms.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
8. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Redistribute the premium plugin or its premium source code to third parties, whether free of charge or for payment.
- Use a single license on more sites than permitted by your plan.
- Reverse-engineer or modify the plugin's license validation or activation mechanisms.
- Use the plugin for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations, including GDPR.
- Impersonate PlannerWP or claim official endorsement without our written consent.
- Use the plugin to collect data from minors under 16 without appropriate parental consent mechanisms in place on your site.
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate license termination without refund.
9. Updates & Support
9.1 Automatic Updates
Active paid licenses receive automatic plugin updates via the WordPress dashboard. Updates include bug fixes, security patches, and new features. We recommend always keeping the plugin up to date.
9.2 Support
Support is provided according to your plan:
- Free plan: community support via the WordPress.org plugin forum.
- Premium plan: email support with a response time of up to 72 hours.
- Professional plan: priority email support with a 24-hour guaranteed response time and direct access to the development team.
Support covers installation, configuration, and bug resolution for the plugin as described in its documentation. Support does not cover custom development, third-party plugin conflicts, or training.
9.3 End-of-Life
If we decide to discontinue the PlannerWP plugin, we will provide at least 6 months' notice to active paid subscribers and offer a pro-rated refund for any remaining subscription period.
10. Data, Privacy & GDPR
As a plugin user, you are the data controller for all personal data collected from your clients through the PlannerWP plugin. This means you are responsible for:
- Displaying a compliant privacy policy on your WordPress site informing clients how their booking data is used.
- Obtaining valid consent from clients for data collection where required.
- Configuring appropriate data retention settings within the plugin.
- Responding to data subject access requests from your clients.
- Complying with GDPR or any other applicable data protection regulation in your jurisdiction.
PlannerWP provides technical tools within the plugin to help you meet these obligations (automated anonymisation, JSON export, consent timestamping). However, PlannerWP is not responsible for your compliance with GDPR as the data controller of your clients' data.
Full details of how PlannerWP processes data from plannerwp.com visitors and license holders are set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:

- Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
- Loss or corruption of data.
- Costs of substitute goods or services.
- Any other intangible losses.
In any case, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to your use of the plugin shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license immediately, without prior notice, if you:
- Breach any provision of these Terms.
- Use the plugin for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes.
- Attempt to circumvent our license validation systems.
Upon termination, your right to use premium features ceases immediately. The Free plan version of the plugin (GPL-licensed) may continue to be used, subject to its own terms.
You may terminate your subscription at any time by cancelling through your Freemius account. The plugin will continue to function until the end of the paid period.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain the right to benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence, and to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
